The roots
Born and raised in the southwest of Western Australia, and with a special interest in supporting people living in rural and remote Australian communities, Leah understands the unique challenges they face, particularly with limited resources and connected experiences. She is motivated by the human connection, and working with clients in the regional areas fills that love of bringing people together. She offers flexible delivery to clients both in Australia and overseas, ensuring that her services are accessible to all who need them.
Balancing her professional life, Leah is a mother, wife, and an empty nester with a strong family focus and a lot of life experience to inject into her modalities. She works with individuals, schools, corporations, and businesses, always aiming to help people find their path and purpose. Leah is also the artist and owner of RandyResin, where she channels her creativity, utilising this skill to encourage and support her art therapy life coaching qualifications, particularly for the neurodiverse. Her artwork has homes across Australia and overseas, including Government House Perth, with former Governor, The Honourable Kim Beazley AC, and with the former Consulate General of India to Australia, Ms. Dantu Charandasi.
A true people person and fundamental optimist, Leah is dedicated to supporting others in their personal and professional journeys, continually seeking ways to inspire and empower. There is always something to learn and there is always something to share.
WHY THE BLUE ELEPHANT?
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room!
A "blue elephant" symbolises uniqueness, strength, and wisdom, particularly in the context of mental wellness, integrative therapies, and mindset. In many cultures, elephants are revered for their intelligence, memory, and empathetic nature, embodying qualities essential for mental health and personal growth. The colour blue, often associated with calmness, serenity, and introspection, enhances this symbolism by representing a tranquil state of mind.
In integrative therapies, the blue elephant serves as a metaphor for holistic healing, combining Reiki, Art Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and life coaching. These therapeutic approaches collectively address the mind, body, and spirit, promoting comprehensive well-being.
Blue Elephant Therapies encourages individuals to embrace their unique journeys, fostering resilience and self-awareness and expression with alternative and unexplored options, including the power of art, creation and the non-verbal expressive approach. This particular approach creates an opportunity for those who have deeply embedded emotions, fears, vulnerabilities, and a difficulty in articulating feelings, to find expression.
At Blue Elephant Therapies, clients are reminded of their inherent strength and the importance of nurturing their mental wellness through diverse, integrative practices. This unique and eclectic approach inspires a balanced and mindful insight into personal development, tailored to the individual, family, group, school or corporate environments.
